Tannhauser Gate
D³SCR!PTION
this time inspired by the movie ‘blade runner’. there’s this wonderful ending sequence – people that know the movie surely know what i mean. the pic is based on a little speech that one of the characters speaks at the end of the movie.
“I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe: attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain… Time to die.” one of ‘these’ moments in movie making history. i love it.
i don’t know if there is a region in space that is called tannhauser gate. my search in the net was not successful. so to all you space scientists… if you ever discover a gate-like nebula or nova, then call it tannhauser gate! it’s such an impressive name.
