There seem to be some network problems on the provider end that make this site a not too good looking place. So please don’t wonder if there is an image, or design element, not loading. I hope my provider gets the problems resolved soon. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

I’m working on a neat animation from my latest painting… for a week now. I’m following a video tutorial by ILM matte painter chris stoski. I’m working with 3dsmax and photoshop to get that monster done. The final animation part will have 720 pictures… and will have 30secs playtime. I also planned an ‘off’ animation. Means the camera will move off the pic and reveal how the animation setup looks. I think that will be interesting to see for everyone who wants to know how it’s done. I’ll post it as soon as it’s done. Stay tuned!

Here we go. It’s been a while since my last painting work. I did some orientation work over the last weeks and came to the conclusion that i need more 3d experience.
Don’t be confused with the title of the painting. Yes it is scenery and no character thing. I have some special plans with that one. I followed the poll result of: [link] and made it a morning atmosphere kind of piece. It will be your decision to say if i succeeded or not. The feedback of some closer friends tells me it looks cool. Thanks out to them. It will be online soon.
Since the opening of v5 here i heard some opinions about the site. They all were pretty good. Even if i think some parts could look much better. That’s why i’ll invest some more time into some detail of the site over the next few weeks.
There is a new painting in the works too, (project name ‘wolf creek’) and i think i can finish it within the next 5-7 days. I’m really nailing down the composition with that one and i think it will be a quite nice addition to my portfolio. It will be a very natural environment this time. I must say it feels damn good to paint again. I did not have much chances to do so over the last few weeks while working on the site. Wallpapers and Prints will be available as soon as i’m done with it. Stay tuned!

Here we are with version 5 of tigaer-design.com. It will allow you folks to leave some feedback and it will allow me to communicate with the people that visit my site. Lets see how it will work out. But at first we have to redesign this blog stuff to my needs. Updating and modifying several elements to make comments on pictures work.
Now after almost 2 months we managed to get some of the most important things done and hope to open the site soon.
