D³SCR!PTION

this time i tried to follow an advice by a friend who told me to not overload my pics with details. in my previous pieces i had a lot of details and added more and more. from my point of view they were good for the pieces. but this time i follow the advice to not add too much. what we have here is, again, a fictional scenery on a distant planet somewhere in our universe. the sheer mass of planets and stars out there should make it possible that a scenery like this really exists. i guess everyone who looks at this piece will never see something like this for real… but we still have our imagination, right? so please take a look at the pic – then close your eyes and imagine you’re inside the scenery. you can see the planet rising on the horizon. you feel the winds that stride through your hair… and you take a deep breath of the fresh clear air. if you can imagine this while keeping the pic in mind… i have succeded with my piece.

TECHN!CAL DETA!LS

this time i haven’t tried to improve. this time i tried to create a different kind of scenery from my usual stuff. i rendered the pic 2 times with different atmosphere and water settings. i combined the pics in PScs to make them fit to the idea i had in mind. later on i added the big planet – clouds abd particular parts of very early renders of mine. also added various textures to the clouds. the clouds needed the most attention in this one – i’m still not happy but i don’t know what else more to do. the terrain was from the net somewhere… and the atmosphere file i got from *hypnotic. though i changed a lot of settings to make them match my ideas… thanks out to *hypnotic.
