Scifi & Fantasy Calendar 2016

Tigaer-Design Calendar 2016

Alrighty. Here we go. The calendar for YOUR amazing 2016 is now available in my deviantart store. Had a hard time picking the artworks for this one since they all work well for a calendar page. A nice look back at the pieces I did this year. Among a few older ‘personal favs/classics’ we have quite a number of new pieces in this calendar this time. For the calendar design I used Vue to create a neat looking cover image and plates for the month pages. Had some fun with it and hope it turned out eyecatching enough. :) Due to the format I had to cut off small parts of the images but tried to keep the main elements in frame as good as possible. I’m fairly happy with how it turned out this year.

Love this! My favorites are Phoenix Rising and Memories of Ascalon (I’m a huge GW fan).

Thanks again for adding me on linkedIn Christian. I’ve been visiting your site for years now and never realized you had a linkedIn account. I was watching some of your youtube tutorials and I think you’re really skilled with VUE. It’s nice that you’re also using After Effects for your special effects and video editing like me :)

    Hey Adrian,

thanks for your constant support. :) I’m not rly active on LinkedIn to be honest. It’s more an alibi account. :D Recently I’m most active on my page on facebook. Thanks for looking into my videos. That Vue walkthrough was something I planned for a long time. The vid has quite the runtime but I at least covered a big part of my overall technique. For the video stuff I do almost always work with After Effects. It’s proven to be very handy in the past. The editing can be a little painful though. But I’m not a master with it. =)

All your edits look good to me. I like that you also have a backstory for each one of your paintings and the way you bring up that text on-sceen. Maybe one day when we’re not too busy we can play some GW. I logged into both games just the other day. Haven’t played GW2 in over a year and our guild in GW1 is over 10 years old now lol.

Thank you. :) Well, my GW2 account has been pretty lonely for more than a year now I think. Not sure if I’m going back anytime soon. They released an addon that might be interesting. But right now I’m focussing on other stuff. These MMOs eat so much time… it’s ridiculous. :)
